The retail programme represents the University of Oxford Shop on Oxford's High Street, as well as the e-commerce business, www.oushop.com. They are the only official retail channels of the University and stock a curated selection of high quality gifts and merchandise that appeal to visitors and tourists, as well as staff and students of the University, and residents of Oxford. Wholly owned by the University, all profits are returned to support teaching and research.
A college clothing order service is available through both retail channels as well as sub fusc for undergraduates, and an Alumni merchandise range. Staff, students and alumni benefit from a 10% discount with their University card.
The University of Oxford Shop is located at 106 High Street, in the centre of the ‘dreaming spires’ of Oxford. With its Oxford blue façade and traditional double fronted windows, the shop is situated opposite Brasenose College and The University's Church of St Mary the Virgin; a stone's throw from the Radcliffe Camera.
Originally a partnership with Liberty's in Oxford, the shop moved to its current premises in 1994. Today the shop sells a wide range of clothing and gifts featuring the University of Oxford crest, much of which is exclusive and cannot be bought elsewhere.
The e-commerce business started life as an online mail order service for the High Street shop, and has grown significantly in recent years. The website stocks the vast majority of items that the shop sells as well as its own online exclusives and a broader range of college and alumni merchandise.
The online team works with a wide variety of University partners to offer a comprehensive selection of Oxford related product including ranges from the University’s museums and libraries.
To claim 10% discount, staff, students and alumni must create an account.
